ENGINEERING & TRAINING SYSTEMS NEW PROJECTS

Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

What you do
  • Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses as well detailed stress analysis (hand-calculation and FEM)
  • Develop stress intensity solutions and perform residual strength analyses
  • Evaluation of fatigue test results (full scale, component, coupon etc..) and support of qualification testing
  • Preparation of formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports
  • Potential for direct liaison/support with the airworthiness authorities
What you bring
  • University degree with at least 10 years of experience in Structural Analysis specifically in the Aerospace sector
  • 5+ years postgraduate experience in stress and F&DT analysis in the aircraft industry
  • Familiarity with NASTRAN, FEMAP or similar packages and F&DT tools e.g. AFGROW, NASGRO FRANC3D
  • Familiarity with CS/FAR Part 23 or Part 25 F&DT requirements
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Mathcad would be advantageous
