About the Role


As part of a Global Finance Transformation Program, Barry Callebaut is aiming to esablish best-in class Finance processes, organization and systems. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented candidate to join the central progam team and drive the delivery of one of the key global finance projects namely Enterprise Performance Measurement (EPM). Accountable towards the Head of the project as well as indirectly to the project sponsor, the role is tasked with managing the end-to-end implementation of certain domains within EPM global project. In addition, the role will partner with the assigned Information Management (IM) Project manager(s) and other central project team members to ensure a coordinated effort with the Business and IM.


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Define and document with the project(s) sponsor the strategic objectives and ambition of each project(s)
  • Drive and act as functional thought leader in the solution design elements of the project(s)
  • Define and document implementation and resources plan, around agreed deliverables
  • Establish and maintain project governance
  • Form and maintain the business project team and ensure engagement of SMEs
  • Manage and coordinate internal / external resources with the IM project lead
  • Ensure project(s) delivery as per brief, with respect to scope, timeline, costs and benefit
  • Monitor performance and maintain effective plan to ensure project meets agreed outcome together with the PMO
  • Adjust approach and plans in response to progress, unanticipated factors and priorities
  • Manage complexity, resolve issues, control resources and deliverables
  • Report on status and actions, escalate for decision as appropriate
  • Advise Sponsor and Program Head on key decision points
  • Identify and advise on inter-dependencies among projects and domains
  • Act as an ambassador for the vision towards business stakeholders and project team
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations to secure buy-in
  • Maintain effective relationship with stakeholders within and outside of Finance
  • Ensure adequate transition and communication plans are developed and executed
  • Ensure delivery of documentation and training to enable adoption of change

About You


  • Minimum 7 years of operational experience in planning, finance or other discipline in an analytic or reporting function
  • Broad finance experience including FP&A / Controlling / management accounting and reporting processes
  • Proven Project Management experience running key global / regional initiatives or transformational projects
  • Experience of partnering IM/IT in delivering finance related projects
  • Master degree in Economics / Business Administration or Engineering, complemented with knowledge in Finance
  • Strong leadership skills in managing cross functional teams, without having direct reporting lines
  • Affinity for information systems. (SAP, SAP FC; BW knowledge is much preferred)
  • Ability to deal with complex, ambiguous or changing environments still driving delivery keeping end goal in mind
  • Able to think ahead in order to establish appropriate course of action of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills within the project and with wider stakeholders
