Contovista is an established Swiss Fintech and we are delighted to grow our team with a (Senior) Frontend Software Engineer. You have a personality that makes it easy for you to negotiate different opinions and possible solutions. You take a lot of positive pride when it comes to Software Design. You love coding and sharing your knowledge with others. You let the best argument win and are not afraid to be wrong at times.

What will you do

  • Work on design, development and maintenance of our end-user banking application using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Continuously evolve and improve our architecture and keep technical debt in check;
  • Dig into vanilla JavaScript
  • Be the goto knowledge source for HTML and CSS
  • SASS and LESS? You know what we mean…
  • Sharing your wisdom with others;
  • Deepen understanding of banking systems;

You have:

  • BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent experience;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience;
  • Extensive Knowledge of Angular and Typescript, CSS, html;
  • Buildtools like webpack, Gulp, SystemJS;
  • Pragmatic work style, always striving to find the right trade-offs;
  • Fluency in English;

Added bonus:

  • Knowledge of the banking/finance domain;
  • Fluency in German;
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin and perhaps some Google Cloud;
