We are looking for a self-contained Senior Full Stack Engineerto join at an early stage a platform transformation initiative to build our future eCommerce platform. The future website and eCommerce platform will consist of several isolated Python applications for backend services connected to a Vue.js frontend application.

As an Engineer, your main focus is project work, working closely with designers, business owners, and developers. You’ll have the opportunity to work and develop your skills around cutting-edge technologies: Python 3. x, Django 3. x, FastAPI, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Vue.js, AWS...

Main responsabilities:

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate the software solutions;
  • Design and build client & server-side applications;
  • Integrating the front-end UI with the constructed APIs;
  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers to design and implement the expected backend features;
  • Building and maintaining performance, maintainable and isolated applications, and features;
  • Managing testing and bug fixes;
  • Assisting other team members and doing code reviews from other Engineers.

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor/Master degree
  • Ideally, you have 6 years of experience in building B2C and consumer digital products using MACH (i.e) Microservices, API-First, Cloud-native, and Headless
  • Experience with backend Python frameworks such as Flask, Django or FastAPI
  • Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS preprocessors
  • Building frontend applications using React, Angular or Vue.js
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • An understanding of security vulnerabilities and how to prevent them
  • An understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience creating secured and well-designed APIs
  • Strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python and Agile methodologies (such as Scrum and Kanban)
  • Knowledge of testing, QA tools, and methodologies
