For a project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior Java Developer - Digitalization Project

In this challenging role, you will get the opportunity to add new features to a highly available wealth engine that is used by the bank’s client advisors. As the business requirements are not always clear you get great freedom to bring in your own ideas on how to implement the business needs. Furthermore, you can gather experience in a large-scale digitalization project which aims on moving away from virtual machines to OpenShift. During the whole project, you get supported by a specialized team ofcomputer and quant scientists.


Your Qualifications:
  • Long time experience working within the latest Java ecosystem (Java 8-11 / Spring Boot)
  • Well versed working on highly performant mission-critical server-side applications
  • Ability to implementAPIsusing technologies such asOpenAPI and REST
  • Familiar working in demanding environments within Insurance, Industrial orpreferably Banking
  • Good Team Player with very strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English

Your Responsibilities:
  • Translating higher level business requirements into implementable lower level requirements
  • Implementation of new requirements, with particular focus on scalability, architecture, stability, automated testing
  • Interaction with an international team of developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals and leading the effort
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and approaches for portfolio construction, trade recommendation, asset allocation
