The purpose of this role is to provide technical guidance and suggest improvements in development processes. Develop required software features, achieving timely delivery in compliance with the performance and quality standards of the company.

Job Description

We are looking for someone able to:

  • Participate actively in the development of the products with the agile team of IT specialists and financial professionals
  • Work closely with financial experts to gain first-hand experience and discuss possible solutions and alternatives to embed their requests
  • Keep up-to-date on the cutting-edge technologies and contribute actively to the technical choices of the team
  • Coordinate and organize the products evolutions and their deliveries
  • Provide support on the applications to our internal and external users
  • Use modern test frameworks to ensure the quality of the applications
  • Actively participating in the chapter community, proposing technical upgrades and initiatives to reduce technical debt.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Fluent with Java technology
  • Knowledge of Spring and JPA frameworks as well as SQL language
  • At ease with management configuration tools: Maven, Git and Bamboo
  • Advocate of testing and CI practices
  • Interest in Agile Methodology
  • Ability to focus on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
  • Good communication, team player, rigorous and autonomous
  • Fluent in English and French
