Senior Lecturer (MER2)
at the Institute for Higher Education and Research in Health Care – IUFRS
‍
Starting date: July 2022 or to be agreed
Place: Lausanne, Switzerland
‍
Excellence in health care education and research constitutes the core mission of IUFRS. In its areas of expertise – nursing and health sciences – the Institute offers state of the art education at master’s and doctoral level and conducts internationally renowned research. Thereby, it aims at training and developing nursing talent at university-level that is well prepared for key roles in practice, education and research. In all its endeavors, IUFRS puts safety and quality of care for patients, families and relatives center stage and assumes evidence-based nursing practice and scientific rigor as foundational principles.
‍
The successful candidate will be mainly active in IUFRS’ Master of Science in Advanced Nursing Practice program and collaborate closely with the vice-director of education.
‍
To continue carrying out this mission effectively, the Institute is looking for an expert in advanced nursing practice with the following profile:
‍
  • PhD in Nursing Science or Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Education and sound clinical experience as nurse practitioner
  • Experience in clinical supervision and student assessment
  • Experience and strong interest in teaching and post-graduate training
  • Strong interest in interprofessional collaboration
  • Proficiency in French (level at least B2, C1 ideally) or ability to acquire it quickly
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
