As a “Senior Logistics Specialist”, you will ensure outstanding logistics operations at minimum cost, by closely and effectively managing the relationship with suppliers and 3PL. You will also oversee and manage supply chain projects focused on optimizing the flow of coffee and related finished products from sourcing to delivery. You will work closely with various teams to ensure projects align with business goals, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.


A Day in the Life of a Senior Logistics Specialist

  • Ensure short and mid-term strategy and capacity management.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of project plans, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes, identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain a smooth and responsive supply chain.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with supply chain projects to ensure uninterrupted flow of goods and services.
  • Implement sustainability and ethical sourcing practices within the supply chain for coffee and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout the supply chain project lifecycle.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure Budget control by following up with F&C and monthly floating stock valuation.


What will make you successful

  • At least 5+ years of relevant and successful operational experience at market/business level in one or more of the following:
    • Warehouse and Transportation Management.
    • Knowledge of raw materials in the supply chain.
    • Supply Chain Project management.
  • Relevant experience in international logistics with end-to-end logistics projects including different stakeholders.
  • Experience in the management of projects such as distribution network redesign, high performance logistics, customer logistics.
  • Experience with reporting tools, dashboarding using tools such as Power BI.
  • University degree (or equivalent) in supply chain, logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate, team and service oriented and proactive cooperation.
  • Results and details focus, Autonomous and well organized.
  • Fluent in English, French or other languages a plus.
