We are a full-service medical communications agency and a publishing house with medical journals like the healthbook TIMES Oncology Hematology, the healthbook TIMES Das Schweizer Ärztejournal/Le Journal des Médecins Suisses as well as several healthbook CONGRESS Highlights, covering the latest insights from annual congresses like the ASCO, EHA, ASH, EULAR, ECTRIMS, or ERS meetings and many more. We are located in Zurich and are looking for an experienced Principal Medical Writer. We offer you a varied and motivating working environment with challenging projects.


H+O is looking for a Senior Medical Editor / Proofreader.


Your tasks:

  • Performing content- and line-editing as well as proofreading, checking formatting consistency, grammatical accuracy and spelling errors
  • Checking adherence to style guidelines and/or brand-specific style guidelines
  • Ensuring accuracy of all pages
  • Where applicable, verifying accuracy of all captions for photos and illustrations

Our requirements:

  • Superior knowledge of English and/or German, spoken and written, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Advanced knowledge of writing styles, with a focus on AMA
  • Motivation to work independently, to be able to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to build working relationships; ability to negotiate delivery times due to competing deadlines
  • 2-3 years of experience as an editor in a collaborative environment.
