For a customer – a financial company based in Geneva – we’re looking for a 6 months+ mission, for a

Senior Network Engineer

The role:

• Monitor the global network eco-system to ensure issues are addressed to maintain SLA’S

• Become ICT Owner of specific products and ensure that all the responsibilities surrounding ICT ownership, such as product evolution, Design and documentation are addressed

• Diagnose, analyze and solve problems over the numerous technologies (Client Networks Word Wide, Firewall related issues and Routing Issues)

• Analyze network performance and provide operations reports on the network infrastructure

• Design and perform installation of new sites

• Be a project manager and technical resource on Global and regional Projects to implement new technologies

• Provide architectural insight and possible improvements that could be made based on the Client IT Strategy

Your profile:

• Education in IT network technology
• 3+ years of similar experience in a dynamic & complex environment
• 3+ of those years experience in IT security in a bank
• Wide understanding of global corporate technologies:
• Network Protocols (STP, ARP, DHCP, DNS and DNS management, IPSec)
• Geo-location technologies
• Switching
• Routing and Routers technologies (Peplinks)
• Web Proxy management
• Fortinet firewalls
• SSLVPN remote gateway technologies
• WAN optimization
• Load Balancers
• Wifi Technologies

• Knowledge in the following technologies is a plus:
• Cisco VoIP, Cisco Nexus vPC, Microsoft Azure, SDWan

• Rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong aptitude for analytical problem solving
• Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Attentive to the discretion and governance principles
• High capacity to handle stress
• Capability to work in french & English
• Clean criminal record
