RoleIn this role, you will manage and successfully deliver the transformation project from a legacy SAP version to a new generation on SAP S/4HANA, with a fit to standard approach for the business processes.You will be responsible to successfully manage and deliver the project within the frame of scope, budget, planning and quality. This involves coordination of the different functional and technical streams, change management as well as providing quality reporting to the Project Sponsor and governance bodies.Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver the project to the satisfaction of the Project Owner and customers, within the agreed
  • constraints, applying the SAP activate methodology and following the project management framework and guidance
  • Managing the assigned project and steer the stream leaders in terms of scope, budget, planning, quality and risks & issues
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the customer(s), Change Owner, Steering Committee and other stakeholders
  • Communicating with stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Managing the quality, safety and security aspects of the project’s activities and deliverables in accordance with the applicable regulations and company directives
  • Managing the external SAP integrator and other suppliers
  • Preparing for formal gate reviews, including ensuring the completeness, quality and timely submission of all required information’
Profile
  • Master’s degree or equivalent level of professional experience in a science, financial or business-oriented discipline
  • Professional project management certification – IPMA level B, PMI PMP or equivalent level of certification or equivalent level of professional experience in the project management discipline
  • proven, solid Senior PM with leadership skills and full end to end ERP transformation project lead experience. Desired: experience as Senior PM on ERP SAP S/4HANA on a full end to end transformation project
  • 10 – 15 years’ experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with applied social skills but also project management “hard skills” like proper scheduling, workload estimates, conducting steering committees etc…
  • A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering projects of increasing complexity and crossing more than one domain or department
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication ability on all hierarchical levels and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and decompose complex problems and develop recommendations for realistic solutions
  • Experience with managing larger organizational entities
  • Thorough knowledge of current project management methods
  • Very good verbal and written command of English, fluent in French or German
