The DeepLearning team in Fribourg is building the backend for a brand-new cloud -based product . Having no legacy code to maintain allows us to move fast and chose the latest and coolest technologies.

About You

Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic software professional with a can-do attitude who shares the enthusiasm for learning and applying any new development that helps to keep our software platform state of the art. Here’s a list of some of the things we pay attention to in our hiring process:
  • Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , Physics or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and motivated learner
  • Strong experience of one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript ( Node) or C#
  • Experience with one of the major cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon web services or Google Cloud platform)
  • E xperience with Linux, relational databases , Docker/Kubernetes, JSON
  • E xperience designing and developing Microservices and serverless application
  • Good presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written fluency in English or French

What You Will Do
  •  Solve complex multidisciplinary problems, create software components shared across multiple teams, improve process communication, integrate network protocols, and implement other high-level application functionality
  • Participate in the design and the development of backend of a new cloud-based product
  • Collaborate with our Seoul and Boston software teams for development as well as the integration of our product with other software solutions
