We are looking for a Senior Specialist Food Packaging Polymer Coatings to develop polymeric coatings for high barrier recyclable paper and high barrier recyclable plastic monomaterials.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Specialist Food Packaging Polymer Coatings

  • Develop polymeric coatings to improve barrier and machinability performance of plastic monomaterial
  • Drive all scientific aspects of coating materials for deposition on paper or plastic monomaterials
  • Understand monomaterial recycling context.
  • Deliver proprietary solutions and be recognized as an expert

What will make you successful

  • Work experience (+ 10 years) in the field of coating material / plastic industry
  • PhD in polymer, coatings or chemistry.
  • Knowledge of the material / packaging suppliers / converters landscape
  • Ability to coach and train people
  • Experience in working in a research environment, ideally within project teams
  • Fluent in English
