Kandou Bus is looking for a Software Silicon Test and Validation Engineer who enjoys a challenge in IC validation, test bench setup, board design, and software development for our Lausanne office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development of scripts and programs for integrated circuit validation, characterization and ATE.
  • Development of test benches (which using lab instruments, Raspberry Pi, microcontroller and FPGA)
  • High speed board design (schematic, PCB and follow manufacturing)
  • Perform silicon validation and characterization for Serdes products
  • Demos for customers and support on the EVMs
Requirements
  • The candidate should have a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering (ideally with an apprenticeship in Electronics).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience in Python and C/C++
  • Background in test equipment and measurement automation
  • Experience of hardware programming through serial port, GPIB interface and possibly I2C, SPI and USB.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor test flow
  • Experience in high speed or high frequency signal measurement.
  • IC validation and test experience (bring up, characterization and ATE)
  • Proven track record in silicon validation
  • Experience on SerDes links would be a plus
  • High-speed design boards
  • Customer support experience
  • Lab skills (soldering, board rework, …)
