Join our team as a Simulator Product Manager / System Engineer, responsible for managing our generic simulator platform used in the Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) Initial Training, setting standards, providing user guidance, and fostering development. Bring your technical expertise, aviation knowledge, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit to this dynamic role. Flexibility, strong communication, and an initiative-taking mindset are essential.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the management of Skyguide Academy’s generic simulator platform, ensuring smooth operations across all facets
- Develop and implement industry-leading standards, processes, procedures, and comprehensive checklists
- Create comprehensive operational and technical documentation to facilitate efficient simulator use
- Prepare and configure simulators, providing clear instructions to users for optimal utilization
- Evaluate potential areas for simulator enhancement and advancement, fostering continuous improvement
- Offer immediate support for all simulator-related queries, ensuring users have a seamless experience
- Assist in training simulator pilots, playing a pivotal role as contributors to the ATCO skill development
Your profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Profound knowledge of aviation principles and practices
- Strong analytical thinking and adeptness at comprehending intricate systems
- Team player who thrives both independently and in collaborative team environments
- Demonstrates adaptability, creativity, and a proactive approach to challenges
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including irregular shifts when necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
