Site PCT Manager (m/f/d)


YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The site PCT manager is responsible for:
    • an efficient site PCT team including leading and managing of PCT engineers by empowering its members and fostering their cooperation
    • the safe, ecological and economical preparation of production plants and processes wrt. to PCT and automation
    • ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations as well as company policies
    • the implementation and continuous improvement of all relevant automation and PCT strategies and corresponding knowhow as well as electrical safety concepts at site
    • planning and implementation of all PCT activities wrt. maintenance and repair works including e.g. life cycle management of control systems and production related IT systems in strong collaboration with the respective plant technology managers
    • planning and execution of investment projects in the PCT area, management of related investment costs and budgets
    • coordination the interface to internal and external service providers
    • evaluation of innovative ideas and implementation of new technologies e.g. to foster digitalization at site
    • supporting actively the exchange of experiences with others and the further development of the site in all relevant PCT topics

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Master in Electrical-Engineering / Process Control / Automatization or related field
  • Long-term experience (> 10 years) in PCT engineering, digitalization and maintenance of process plants within the chemical industry
  • Strong technical and economic competence, familiar with DCS/MES systems as well as electrical explosion protection and functional safety
  • Knowledge of relevant norms, standards and legal requirements
  • Knowledge of the application of engineering/maintenance tools and software
  • Project management skills, good organizational and communication skills as well as a solution-oriented approach and flexibility
  • Experience to lead a team with strong leadership skills, ability to steer and motivate
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
