lastminute.com group is looking for a Senior .Net Software Engineer for Chiasso.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching, designing, writing and testing new enterprise applications (web applications, web API, services) using Agile software methodologies.
• Contributing to the planning and analysis of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional and technical expertise.
• Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.
• Be part of an Agile team, using the company’s latest software development life-cycle working closely with team members
• Leverage our Cloud infrastructure (Azure) in order to design solutions that make the best of it
• Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses.
• Problem-solving and lateral thinking as part of a team, or individually, to meet the project needs.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Strong knowledge of C# and Microsoft .Net framework / .Net Core
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, IoC/DI and design patterns
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (unit test/integration test) and related libraries (Nunit, Moq, XUnit)
• Wide technology knowledge and a sense of curiosity to explore new and better ways to solve problems
• Willingness to work in an Agile environment
• Experience with modern software development life-cycle
• Good knowledge of Italian and English

Desirable

• 
  NHibernate and/or Entity Framework, TSql (SQL Server)
• Good knowledge of Javascript
• Knowledge of Azure Paas services
• Experience in AngularJs, TypeScript
• Basic Front End skills (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Responsive Design)
• "Hobby Project" of interest / open-source contributor
• MS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
