The Software Test Leader‘s main responsibilities are guiding and coaching his team, combined with Project Management responsibilities.

Other interesting challenges include:

  • Lead the software test team within the Component and Integration Test team
  • Create development plans and coach team members in order for them to grow competencies and skills
  • Global networking with key stakeholders like Software team or Project Managers to understand their needs and manage expectations
  • Select and apply test strategy elements as appropriate and work on extending test automation together with HIL systems
  • Define scope and content of test campaigns, set priorities, assign work packages to individual testers, track progress, and take corrective actions
  • Ensure availability of test infrastructure needed to execute defined tests

Further requirements may include:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Team and business management skills, leadership experience is a must
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in testing and quality assurance of software-intensive automation products or as a leader in a broader software development environment
  • Test automation technologies and practices, different test methods, agile processes and tools
  • Open to collaborate in an international, distributed environment with changing priorities
  • Self-directed, self-organized, highly responsible and reliable team player with strong analytic skills
  • Quick learner, open minded for new technologies and a generator of innovative ideas
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
