The Solutions Architect, Technical Programs leads Veeam Alliance Technical Programs, such as Veeam Ready, coordinates program activities with the participating vendors and drives multiple projects within the Product Management - Alliances team on a global level. The objective of the Alliance-focused technical programs is to increase the breadth of joint solutions developed by Veeam and Alliance partners in a programmatic and repeatable format, increasing the market reach for Veeam and Alliance Partners while enabling the end-customer’s ability to quickly identify and implement the right solutions for their specific needs. The Solution Architect will ensure that the programs are beneficial for Veeam and their alliance partners, aligned with Veeam’s vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect is primarily responsible for driving technical initiatives and formalizing them through the Technical Programs. Therefore, program management expertise and operational, technical excellence will influence the team’s decisions and drive effective and scalable solutions. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Responsible for the development, management, and execution of technical programs associated with the Veeam Technical Partner Programs. This includes defining the program scope, technical test plans, work and structure, stakeholder management, communications, execution, and publishing results.
  • Communicate the program details and technical changes to Technology Alliance Partners
  • Partner with the Global Alliance Product Marketing team to jointly develop any technical initiatives to improve the quality and effectiveness of Alliance related activities with Veeam and Veeam’s position in the marketplace.
  • Own the technical component of the Global Alliances quarterly scorecard and drive its improvement and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Expert level experience of VMware or Microsoft virtualization technologies

Demonstrated experience in program or/and project management, engineering, solution architecture, or equivalent role

Expert level experience in data protection & disaster recovery technologies

Experience or knowledge of one or more of the leading public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Previous pre-sales or other experience interacting with a global partner or large strategic customers

A breadth of experience with core infrastructure technologies, including storage, networking, and compute

Experience working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field experience

Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Excellent project management skills

Ability to work across multiple teams spread out globally and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical teammates
