We develops, manufactures and sells world-wide a complete range of transducers and electronic systems for the monitoring of engines, turbines and other rotating machinery in both the aerospace and energy industries.

The Position

To further strengthen our Operations department, we are currently looking for a “S&OP & Supply Chain Project Manager”.

As “S&OP & Supply Chain Project Manager” you will be accountable for leading the S&OP process from start to end and managing the supply side of the process both for capacity planning and purchasing needs. Moreover, you will be in charge of improving the Supply Chain processes and tools of our Fribourg operations and will support the site progress plan in terms of customer service level and inventory reduction, working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, Production and Engineering teams.

The Main Responsibilities For This Role Are
  • Lead sales and operations planning and manage the S&OP process to reach sales targets and manufacturing operations performance
  • Build sales / manufacturing / supply scenario on 18 months horizon, challenging inputs from related services, as well as define “what if” alternatives that will improve robustness of business steering through risk & opportunity management
  • Continuously improve the S&OP process
  • Be accountable for supply chain improvement plan: performance, processes and SAP best practices
  • Ensure project management for site initiatives for customer service and inventories : functional management of large project teams, weekly project steering, manage resources, report to senior management team
  • Lead process redesign and implementation of new standards : build business case, define as-is and to-be processes, ensure change management
  • Provide support to PLC for supply chain corporate projects
  • Support operational teams in supply chain problem solving: participation to DLA, lead complex root cause analysis and follow up of corrective actions
  • Drive PLC supply chain assessment and alignment with PLC standard processes (when applicable) for Fribourg site.
  • Manage a team of 4 people as well as our Supply Chain Graduate
Your Profile
  • Master degree (in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering) and 5 to 8 year experience in a Supply Chain related role in industries such as FMCG, automotive, watchmaking or aerospace e.g.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain project management
  • APICS and Lean Green Belt certification would be a plus
  • Broad and deep understanding of diversified supply chain approaches and systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power BI); SAP would be an asset
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate with various partners across the organization
  • Well-developed team spirit as well as strong prioritization (multi-tasking environment) and analytical skills.
