Squad Lead for Standardization

The Squad Lead is responsible to identify opportunities for standardization, elaborate value cases for selected standards and defend the value cases in front of a broad variety of senior management stakeholders. After approval of a standardization opportunity it is the Squad Lead’s responsibility to identify potential squad members across all the organization and form a multi-disciplinary squad for the elaboration and company wide roll-out of the standard. The Squad Lead has a functional leadership role and is responsible for active stakeholder management across the entire organization.
The perfect candidate has at least a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, 3-6 years experience in a senior technical leadership position or in the R&D environment. Experience in stakeholder management on senior management level and a strong economic view is a must.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Must Haves:
- Min. Bachelor degree in an Engineering related discipline (e.g. System Development, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering) (****)
- Min. 3-6 years professional experience in a senior technical leadership position e.g. project lead, program lead, lead architect, department lead or product manager in R&D environment (****)
- Experience with Senior Stakeholder Management, cooperation and communication skills within a multinational environment (****)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and manage trusted relationships across cultural, and functional boundaries and engages with a wider network with ease (****)
- Leadership, delegation & coaching skills, ability to convince and to approach people
- Conflict Management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active listener with attention to detail
- Strong flexibility and adaptability in changing circumstances, able to cut-through complexity and ambiguity to deliver meaningful and valuable results
- Fluent in English, excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experiences in a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience in sales or marketing
