Starting your self-employment as an asset manager / deputy relationship manager

Have you been considering becoming self-employed and joining an asset manager for a long time, but don’t want to bear the full financial risk from the very beginning?

We are a FINMA-licensed Swiss asset manager with focus on clients from Latin America. We are looking for a motivated person to support our relationship manager in Basel in the management of his clients. In addition to this 50% workload, we offer you the opportunity to build up and manage your own client book.

Your role

• Support of a relationship manager with the following core tasks:
• Portfolio management (portfolio monitoring, preparation of analysis proposals, etc)
• Administrative work (client administration, correspondence, etc)

• Development of own client book with clients preferably from Latin America (other regions possible)

Your requirements

• A high degree of customer and service orientation as well as independence and personal responsibility
• Understanding of customer due diligence, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, know-your-customer (KYC) processes and cross-border regulations
• Banking education and very good knowledge of banking processes and products
• At least 5 years of experience as relationship manager in private banking (client contact)
• Written and spoken Spanish and English, German an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Bloomberg
