Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

What you do
  • Structural Analysis – Classical static Stress Analysis & Finite Element analysis of airframe structure in both a development and certification oriented environment
  • Preparation of formal engineering structural analysis reports, test plans and test reports
  • Cross functional analytical support, internal liaison and potential for direct liaison/support with external supplier companies and the airworthiness authorities
  • Potential for additional activities associated directly with CS 23 compliance demonstration
What you bring
  • University graduate with at least 3-5 years of experience in Stress Analysis specifically in the Aerospace sector
  • Experience of deploying classical hand calculation methodologies and utilising industry standard reference sources
  • Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP or similar Finite Element packages
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Mathcad would be advantageous
  • Knowhow of CS 23 and composite analysis methodologies would be advantageous
