The Strategic Embedded Engineer will be the first technical contact person within one of our biggest customer’s organization and ensures full access and benefit to the Endress+Hauser portfolio and expertise. This position is part of the Global Strategic Account Management Team and will work alongside with the Strategic Account Manager for the assigned customer.

The candidate will be an integral part of the customers Corporate Operations Technologies and Manufacturing Excellence Team. Aligned with the agreed strategic directions, the Strategic Embedded Engineer will take the lead on strategic instrumentation initiatives with the customer, supported by the customer’s management and the Strategic Account Manager.

The Strategic Embedded Engineer will work remotely and is required to be regularly present onsite at our strategic account’s offices in Switzerland.

Role + Responsibilities

  • You will develop and implement initiatives within the strategic account and with various stakeholders to unlock untapped values for their technical processes and operations.
  • You will be a technical consultant on Endress+Hauser products, services, and solutions at the customer’s corporate level through to factory level utilizing cross-functional teams of subject matter experts
  • You will work alongside the Strategic Account Manager to ensure alignment with the efforts to maximize retention, adoption and customer satisfaction within complex global initiatives
  • You will support in the development and maintenance of the customer’s instrumentation and calibration related standards and guidelines
  • You will support and drive the Digital Strategy in alignment with Endress+Hauser’s strategy

Qualifications + Profile

  • 5+ years work experience in the field of process instrumentation or Food & Beverages
  • Experience in the context of manufacturing within a process industry
  • Ability to work and think independently with a high level of personal initiative and proactivity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel also internationally
