About the role:



In this role, as a junior analytics champion within Swiss Re’s Group Communication’s team, you will be using data and insights to improve the impact of our marketing and communications’ campaigns. You will be an integral part of the Strategy & Insights Team, and be the go-to expert for web, marketing and content analysis and reporting for various customer data platforms and channels. You will coordinate closely with colleagues across Group Communications to align on priority projects and support them to deliver against campaign goals. You will collaborate with IT and data engineers to further improve our data analytics reporting tools. In addition, you will manage website analytics in planning, developing, improving, and maintaining proper tracking, as well as organise A/B testing, formulate hypothesis, align objectives with business partners and deliver reports for the planned campaigns across a set of pre-aligned KPIs. If you equally have experience in audience research, brand monitoring and brand health tracking, this will be a plus.


Your responsibilities:



• Analyse data, write reports and present to your team the findings and learning regarding different content marketing use cases (e.g. newsletters, webinars, etc.)
  • Work with web analytics tools e.g. Piwik Pro to understand visitor behaviour, analyse web page performance, help optimise our various websites.
  • Do A/B testing for content and various marketing executions
  • Run ad-hoc analysis, answer questions, address key issues while we develop, run, track and report on major marketing and digital campaigns, and identify ways to improve performance
  • Able to do audience analytics and target audience definition
  • Collaborate with colleagues, such as content creators, social media managers, creatives, and others to make sure they act based on the data and learning generated from insights
  • Analyse user journeys, funnels, derive insights by integrating data and analysis from various sources
  • Stay on top of relevant developments & innovations in the communication data analytics area
  • Collaborate with third parties like media agencies, content platforms and others to share data and insights.

You have:



• A university degree or equivalent in marketing and marketing research or analytics
  • >2 years of professional-level experience in financial services or in other B-to-B/B-to-C environment in marketing analytics (content, web, advertising, media channels, media and social listening, etc)
  • Been exposed to and able to work effectively in a global corporate matrix and in an agile set-up
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to extract insights from the data and the ability to use data to influence strategies and tactics
  • Critical thinking, as well as strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills
  • Strong planning/project management competence as well as influencing/networking capabilities
  • A healthy level of attention to detail
  • Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
  • Some experience in working with tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Piwik Pro or similar platforms, as well as Tag Manager tools
  • Strong conceptual skills with the ability to define and drive practical usage of analytics
  • Web analytics experience (Google, Adobe, Piwik Pro) and social media analytics experience (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and a basic understanding of HTML or Java Script will be a plus
  • Familiarity in working with social listening tools (e.g. Synthesio, Meltwater) as well as paid media analytics (display ads, programmatic, google ads, sponsored content, etc.) and a basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine advertisement (SEA)
