The Treasury department plays a central role in the finances of the company. Treasury is a relatively small team with a wide range of international responsibilities including cash flow management, in-house bank management, M&A management, bank account and bank relationship management, and treasury systems management. Due to the diversity of these responsibilities, we interact closely with all areas of the finance organization. We are a collaborative and tightly-knit team that encourages learning and development. An internship with the Salesforce Treasury team would be a valuable experience for any university student with a desire to learn everything about how a large multinational company manages its cash and financial risks.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the completion of several exciting and challenging projects covering areas of cash flow management, reporting, automation, payments configuration, and audit. Projects include updating and analyzing the bank account structure for upper management, improving our treasury dashboards, analysis of key metrics, leveraging and building out Salesforce tools such as Tableau and Service Cloud for Treasury use, volunteer time off (VTO) planning, and much more. Your responsibilities will also include providing general support for the Treasury Operations team, including learning the ins-and-outs of daily cash management. You will have opportunities to present your learnings and impact to the global team. By the end of the internship, you will have a general understanding of how a Fortune 500 corporate treasury team functions.

Desire Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a University degree (Bachelor/Master - not MBA), graduating in 2024 in economics, business, accounting, or equivalent work experience.

• Enthusiastic self-starter

• Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint

• Flexibility surrounding change

• Management reporting, presentation skills

• Project management, and an eagerness to learn

• Interested learning about data and visualization tools

• Tableau Certification is preferred but not required

• Fluent business level English language required - additional language skills (ie German, French & Italian is a bonus)
