Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

As a member of the Regional People Services team, the Senior Supervisor People Services EMEA will contribute to ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of people services with seamless cooperation with inter departments and external bodies. S/he will provide day to day support and guidance to Tier 2 People Services focused on Employee Services and Global Mobility functions, with the aim of providing customer focused and highly effective HR services in alignment with our desired employee experience.

This role will focus on excellence in delivery of regional HR Services, continuous improvement, ensuring world class customer service delivery. S/he will actively participate as a teaching manager to foster a customer service focus, accountability, and culture throughout the organization. S/he will contribute to company culture by building strong relationships that foster trust and accountability across the organization.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the People Services Tier 2 Specialists focused on supporting employees and external customers on HR inquiries relating to employee lifecycle, time management, LOA, mobility and transfer, performance management, and people leader support.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and value-added delivery of HR services following customer-centric approach.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with resolving escalated complex cases. Take initiative and actions to identify root causes and design process and training changes in liaison with other Subject Matter Experts.
  • Monitor adherence to and comply with HR SLAs. Provide inputs to enhancement of HR SLAs to better define expectations and create accountability for delivery of HR services.
  • Update templates and adapt procedures when new legal practices are identified and implemented. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and ensure compliance of HR processes and data in coordination with other HR leaders.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including People Systems and Payroll, to ensure appropriate internal controls and audits are in place.
  • Develop a highly effective team by providing leadership, building organizational capability and foster teamwork for regional People Services Tier 2 Specialists under their responsibility.
  • In partnership with the Manager Regional People Services EMEA, monitor and oversee the team’s performance, training, and development.
  • Foster a collaborative partnership with the Company’s Payroll function to improve end-to-end process knowledge, excellence and compliance with local laws to ensure accuracy of pay cycles.
  • Contribute to updates to People Services Knowledge Base to enable self-service capabilities.
  • Lead and contribute to HR Ops and transversal projects and other duties as might be assigned.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in HR or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in HR field in a global organization, preferably in med-tech or tech industries.
  • At least 1 year experience in leading an HR shared service or operations team and applying service delivery framework.
  • Understanding of HR legislation/employment labor laws, regulations, principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience managing and motivating local and remote team members.
  • Collaborative, team player with a customer service mindset.
  • Strong process management and analytical skills, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual that thrives on improving business performance.
  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Experience with the following tools a plus: Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow and ATS systems.
