Senior Team Leader QC Services (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Lead the QC services group focusing on equipment and related activities within the Quality Control Unit Bern
• Supervise QC Specialists engaged in new equipment implementation (IQ/OQ/PQ/CSV), equipment decommissioning, equipment maintenance and data integrity
• Ensure CAPEX spending of the QC department by regular monitoring and setting up appropriate metrics
• Ensure compliance of processes and equipment with global and local guidelines
• Provide guidance and expertise on analytical equipment, related CSV activities and data integrity
• Ensure that deviation linked to equipment related activities are properly investigated, appropriate and effective CAPAs are defined and implemented
• Set team goals and objectives in line with company business objectives
• Supervise and coach the QC Services Equipment team of highly skilled experts and support their development and the performance of appraisals
• Drives improvement projects regarding equipment and automated systems within the QC department

Qualifications

• University degree in natural sciences, applied sciences or equivalent working professional experience
• Know-how of commissioning and qualification requirements according to c(GMP) regulations preferably in a laboratory environment
• Experience in computer system validation in a GMP environment and good knowledge of related regulatory environments in the life science industry (GAMP 5, 21 part 11,)
• Experienced in overseeing and leading a team of specialists to meet a common goal while adhering to all associated timelines for multiple projects
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, results oriented individual with the ability to multitask in a fast paced team environment with attention to detail and good documentation practice
• Good leadership capabilities and communication skills
• Experience of working in a matrix organization and in an international environment
• Strong strategic and conceptual skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Proactive attitude, challenging the status quo, team builder
• Good verbal and written skills in English and German
