As a Team Lead, you’ll lead a team of ~ 5 seasoned Embedded Software Developers, you’ll collaborate across our product centers to design cutting-edge communication interfaces, ensuring seamless integration between measurement devices and digital environments within the Endress+Hauser Group.

Tasks + Challenges

  • Design and oversee the development of complex solutions, ensuring seamless integration between industrial equipment and digital environments
  • Lead the creation of robust and scalable architectures for industrial communication, EDGE computing, gateway technologies, and embedded systems
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in industrial communication protocols, EDGE computing, gateway technologies, and embedded systems, evaluating and selecting technologies to meet customer requirements
  • Inspire and lead a diverse team of software developers, fostering continuous learning and maintaining an open and collaborative culture
  • Contribute to established SCRUM teams, bringing in-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols, network protocols, embedded systems, and software development
  • Foster an agile mindset, focusing on company priorities, deriving Team OKRs, and enhancing agile methods and values

Qualification + Profile

  • Completed studies in computer science, electronic studies, software development, or a related field
  • Proven experience with Embedded Systems, EDGE, and Gateway technologies
  • Knowledge of industrial communication and OT/IT is advantageous
  • Experience in leading agile software development teams and working as a software developer
  • Strong understanding and application of Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, and agile development methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of software architecture and design, including design patterns
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills to inspire your team with your vision
  • Fluency in business English; German language skills are advantageous
