The Team Lead Quality Unit Support team for local QC System is responsible for a middle sized team of highly skilled professionals. As team leader of this group, you will be responsible for providing operational support for local QC system with the team. This role includes application support and system administration. You will closely interact with different departments (QC, QA, IT, OT).

Key responsibilities:

  • On site management and supervision of the team in Visp

  • Planning, coordination, prioritization and scheduling of daily tasks within the team

  • Responsible for the training and personal development of the team

  • Troubleshooting and problem solving for operational and or performance issues

  • Providing technical support in the procurement, installation and configuration of software

  • Administration of local and global QC lab systems (e.g. user management, access rights)

Key requirements:

  • Successfully completed Bachelor or Master studies or equivalent education in the field of natural sciences or computer sciences (like Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Informatics, Computer science, Bio-/Chemo-Informatics)

  • First proven experience as team lead of a Quality department and/or an IT department

  • Significant experience in the GMP environment; preferable within a Quality unit or IT department

  • User and / or technical knowledge of different laboratory software is an advantage (CaryWin UV; AccuSEQ, Solo VPE, Opus, Chromeleon)

  • English and German skills on a proficient level (verbal and written)
