Responsibilities
  • You are in charge of the technical and people management of a small team
  • You define and manage the budget and ensure estimations are made for activities and investments of the team
  • You support your team in developing their competence levels (training, methodology, awareness & usage)
  • You are in charge of evaluating the reliability of the engine and its components based on projects’ and customers’ requirement. You also ensure the compliance to the project and customer requirements for NVH and specific statistic & dynamic loads (namely vibration, stress & temperature, displacement, pressure etc.)
  • You support the planning, coordination and implementation of various test activities and ensure the proper test methods, processes and implementations of development methods are carried out. You also ensure documentation is reported and standardized accordingly
  • You cooperate with other technical departments, external development partners and suppliers of components or technical services to ensure effective and efficient project management
  • Your scope of responsibility also involves approval activities regarding changes in requests coming from customers or further need for development, projects, datasheets and technical specifications

Profile
You differentiate yourself through your leadership standing, analytical thinking and commitment. Facing your tasks you show engagement and flexibility, and have cost and resource awareness
  • You have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • You have specific training in reliability, experimental techniques and preparation, measurement principles & signal processing and have experiences in numeric simulations
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in engine development/product reliability/NVH/testing with experience in managing small teams
  • You have a good command of English and French and/or German
  • You have advanced knowledge in IMC Famos/MatlabSimulink, B&S Multidata ME4 and/or IMC Studio, Uptime Prove & Locate, Pak MKII & Artemis
