Product Owner (Technical) - Bonaduz Switzerland - Contract to Permanent

Darwin Recruitment have a new open position at one of our key clients who are located in Bonaduz Switzerland, where we are looking for a temporary external consultant to start as soon as possible.

Chur is a great attraction for people who enjoy outdoor activities: Skiing, Snowboarding, Hiking, Mountain biking, Walking Trails, etc. My client’s office is only 10 minutes from bunch of famous skiing resorts and 30 minutes away from the infamous St Moritz Mountain.

General Information

• Language: English
• Start Date: October 2022
• End Date: October 2023
• Internalisation: After 12 months there will be an internalisation
• Home working: Flexible - around 3 days per week home office
• Hourly Rate: CHF 80-100 per hour (approx CHF 14,500 gross per month)
• Salary disclosure: We are offering a great salary for Chur. The cost of living in Chur is 25% less expensive than Zurich. To have an equivalent salary in Zurich should be around CHF 200,000.
  

Tasks

My client drive innovation to improve people’s lives! Work with us on the future of laboratory automation. As a technical product owner, you are responsible for the technical implementation with the team and ensure compliance with the software architecture.

• You lead a Scrum team from the perspective of the software requirements.
• Together with your Scrum Team you are responsible for dividing the software requirements into epics, features and stories and work together to define solutions that can be implemented within a sprint.
• You will work in an international environment with other Product Owners to deliver value in each Sprint.
• You are in direct contact with other departments (eg product management, firmware, application development) to clarify questions about the implementation of the stories.
• You will help your team apply and improve agile principles and practices.
  

Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or in a technical field.
• You have several years of experience in agile software development and would like to make a difference by taking responsibility for coordination and organization.
• You have experience as a product owner or several years in requirements engineering in an agile environment.
• You are a communicative and proactive person and use modern presentation, communication and moderation techniques.
• You lead with passion and enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams in an international environment.
• They appreciate the exchange with specialists from the fields of marketing, electronics and software.
• We require fluent language skills in English
