  • Responsible for the technical training of the function leaders within the production team.
  • Overtaking manufacturing project leader role or being proactive team member in CAPEX.
  • Driving continuous improvement in production area for quality, cost, efficiency and safety.
  • Analyze economic feasibility of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.
  • Validate and challenge project risks / escalations from technical perspective.
  • Support for the automation group in the creation of OP/UP and their optimization.
Who are you?
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines .
  • Sound knowledge of biotechnological processes in large scale mammalian/microbial inoculation and cell culture, harvest, buffer / media preparation in stainless tank transfer to stainless hold tanks, and transfers to single use technologies
  • Advanced automation experience with Delta V and/or MES.
  • Profound CAPEX experience - either one big one > 10 mio CHF or multiple minor ones.
  • Fluency in English mandatory, German is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, driven and solution-oriented.
