Join SOPHiA GENETICS as our newly create Technology Strategy Manager


The Strategy team at SOPHiA GENETICS is responsible for setting the company’s strategic vision and ensuring collaboration across business functions. In addition, the Strategy team acts as strategic advisors to the business and takes on high priority projects, seeing them through from ideation to implementation.

As a Technology Strategy Manageron the Strategy team, you will focus on technology-related projects. You will work closely with our Technology team to:

  • Partner with Software Development, Engineering, Architecture, and IT Operations to define and implement a technology strategy aligned with business goals
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Utilize project management experience to lead high priority technology strategy projects from ideation through to implementation, and communicate strategies across the technology organisation.
  • Identify innovative solutions, tools, and platforms that drive growth and improve efficiency within internal and customer processes
  • Establish project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes to support the technology tea

Requirements

  • 4+ Years experience working within technology strategy or organisational architecture.
  • Exposure to a number of technology-focused organisations and deep working knowledge of best practice.
  • Understand of data-focused or data-driven technology organisations highly valuable.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and the full software lifecycle: application development (e.g., application structure, device and operating system APIs, debugging, QA, performance, security) and deployment
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with exposure of partnering closely with C-Level Leaders (I.e. CTO, CIO)
