Job Description

In the role of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / Automation Test Engineer, you will act as a technical software engineer experienced in creating test plans and writing software applications to automate testing of software features and data. The SDET will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, creating test plans, developing test code, and reporting results. The Engineer will automate complex technical testing tasks by creating testing frameworks and reporting & analysis processes and will also participate in tool selection. Previous experience with requirements, defect, functional test, continuous integration is expected.

Required

• Solid experience in working on Java/Selenium.
• Hands on experience is framework design using any test automation tool (Java/Selenium, QF-Test, TestComplete, HP UFT, LeaftFT etc.)
• Excellent database and SQL skills, Strong hands on is required.
• Good knowledge of technologies such as Oracle DB (complex SQL queries), Strong hands on is required.
• Good knowledge of Unix, Strong hands on is required.
• Full STLC testing experience including experience on Test Management Tools and Defect Trackers like HP ALM (QC), JIRA x Ray
• Experience working on CI tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity and DevOps implementation experience
• Experience working in UNIX environment

Preferred

• Experienced with Agile methodology, and Scrum/Kanban delivery approaches.
• Experience (Dev/Test/DevOps) working on any enterprise cloud platform (e.g. AWS, MS Azure)
• Experience in GitLab
• Experience in financial services, banking will be an advantage
• ISTQB/ISEB foundation certified or higher
• German language skills
