Test and Metrology Technician

The Position

You will be part of the RnD department and focused on executing tests and maintaining measurement equipment.

Your Tasks

• Preparing new test cases coming from internal and external customers and test requests pool.
• Performing tests and measurements such as electrical, mechanical, thermal, and chemical and other.
• Performing basic laboratory automation tasks and basic equipment programming.
• Measuring and controlling parts according to drawing or instructions.
• Supporting the failure analysis.
• Providing the results in the correct form as a measurement report.
• Internally calibrating measuring devices (control according to instructions and updating of documents - database).
• Externally calibrating measuring devices (sending devices to external lab and updating documents - database).
• Maintaining documentation for equipment and test suits.

We Are Looking For

You will have a technical education, specialized in electrical and mechanical measurement and industrial experience in the field of electronic device measurement (or any other qualification deemed equivalent). You are able to communicate effectively in English and French (orally and in writing) and have the skills and character to meet our customers’ expectations. You have the authorization to work in Switzerland.
