What you will do

In this challenging and important role you are responsible for design, plan, execute and documents testing, verification and validation within new product development and product change projects with focus on test automation.

Responsibilities will include

• Designs, executes tests and generates automated tests
• Supports the development of the Test Framework
• Works as R&D project team member on V&V tasks
• Communication to V&V and project teams
• Troubleshooting and path forward generation of issues
• Writes clear and detailed technical specifications and documentation
• Supports enhancement of the functional and technical aspects of products and workflows
• Reports Test Project Status to the Test Manager

What you bring along

• Technical or scientific education, preferably computer, biological or life science as well as mechanical or software engineering
• Several years of experience in instrument or module development, preferably in the medical device industry, including relevant educational studies
• Strong programming skills in C
• Experience and in automated testing using Selenium Web Driver or WinAppDriver, experience in the usage of CI, knowledge of version control systems (Git or TFVC)
• English and German fluently spoken and written
