No more noisy fans and inefficient heat sinks. We’re looking for a hands-on mechanical engineer to Join Corintis as an intern, to design the IT cooling solutions of the future. If you’re passionate about building new things, breaking things, and making it better, then we’re looking for you.

About Corintis

Corintis is a startup that is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, constantly require more computing power. More powerful chips generate more heat; extracting this heat is a major challenge for our future.

Current cooling systems are not only limited but also wasteful; cooling data centers consume more power than London and New York combined. At Corintis, we remove these limitations by integrating cooling directly inside the chip. We enable the sustainable computing of the future to address the biggest global challenges.

Helpful skills & experience

  • Hand’s on experience designing and building cooling/thermal management systems (as part of student project’s other internships etc.).
  • Get-things-done mentality.
  • Solid background in heat transfer: Able to make a quick judgment on what is right and wrong, and how to solve problems.
  • Skilled in the usage of CAD tools (Solidworks is a plus).
  • Experienced in designing and setting up experimental test benches, data acquisition, control, and sensing.
  • Ability to “think outside of the box” and freely discuss creative solutions.
  • Autonomous and proactive working style with excellent organisational skills and ethics.
  • Communicating effectively, excellent relational skills, and being able to work in a team with different professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems or PC overclocking is a plus.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
