Key Responsibilities:

Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure compliant cross border transactions and sustainable processes, in the Apparel and Footwear industry for the EMEA region by

Our EMEA team is looking for an International Trade Compliance Analyst.
  • Keeping current with policies and regulations,
  • Assessing risk and reporting on operating and systems changes required to maintain compliance.
  • Working with multi-geography entity and agency engagement, from design/sourcing to marketplace delivery

The Role In Detail
  • Import/Export operational and trade compliance, including HS, COO, Valuation, Weight, UOM
  • Manage declaration, release and accounting for transaction and Supply Chain model
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage Bonded process
  • Applying EU Customs Regulation and manage internal and Customs Audit
  • Review Export Control, for Denied Party Screening on EU outbound transactions
  • Trade review on Global E-Commerce and special projects
  • Trade Agreement eligibility and compliance to utilize: including but not limited to the management of CETA quotas
  • Regulatory change management and reporting
  • Record keeping, for data and document management
  • Support onboarding and maintaining of Trade Technology
  • Apply best practices and technical expertise for robust trade program management
  • Develop KPI and analytic reporting capability for assessment of potential gains against risks
  • Keep current on business and regulatory changes and coordinate timely communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver inhouse trade compliance training
  • Develop and maintain program manuals and operating procedures

  • Exceptional relationships management, with internal & external stakeholders
  • Balance competing priorities, while simultaneously maintaining ethics and accountability
  • Support Preferential Trade and Trusted Trader programs
  • Leverage technology for import/export visibility and responsiveness for Customs Audits

Experience, Education And Designations
  • Minimum 5 years International Trade Compliance experience in Europe and UK, preferable in apparel and footwear industry
  • University or College education required, plus International Trade Certification
  • Strong user skills for Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power-bi
  • Experience with Trade Automation and Supply Chain Security tool

Knowledge, Skills And Attributes
  • In depth knowledge of EU, UK and World Customs Organization policies and regulations
  • Value compliance as a priority and continuously learn to enhance technical knowledge
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to meet regulatory timeline, with attention to details
  • High efficiency in statistical analysis, scenario modeling and presenting
  • Demonstrate skills for enterprise thinking and solutioning in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multi-geographical relationship and cultural sensitivity
