The Trader night shift will reinforce the trading team and improve our Night Shift offer.

Mission
  • Be responsible for and ensure the Night Shift session (US market)
  • Provide a high quality service to direct access clients on multi assets : Equities, ETD, Fixed Income (and FX a plus)
  • Execute trades through broker sponsored algorithms, broker cash desks, dark pool and DMA facilities
  • Manage orders in a risk-controlled manner and contribute to reduce transaction costs
  • Provide help with market comments
  • Participate in tech projects to improve trading technology
Profil

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in trading in a private bank in Switzerland
  • Success track record in working in a highly-regulated, quality-focused environment with complex compliance and operational controls

Professional competencies:

  • Deep understanding of equities, derivatives, fixed income , FX a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the private banking environment and regulatory framework
  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to understand investment needs and objectives
  • Influencing skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and build mutual respect

Personal competencies:

  • Collaborative mind-set, proactive and problem-solving
  • Organized and able to multi-task
  • Open individual with good communication skills, both orally and in written
  • Hands on and results focused approach

Language requirements:

  • Bilingual (French/English) is essential both written and spoken, additional languages a plus

IT Skills:

  • Strong user level in all common IT tools
  • Strong commend in MS Office (Excel)
  • Bloomberg, TradingScreen, G2

Education:

  • University degree in Economics or Bank apprenticeship
  • Professionally qualified with appropriate/related certifications
