Working closely with the corporate team and the shipboard colleagues, the Travelling Fleet Supervisor – Cruise Sales is responsible for the implementation of the cruise sales programs onboard the MSC vessels.

  • Minimum 4 years’ of shipboard experience as Cruise Sales Manager or similar role;
  • Fluent in English, oral and written. The knowledge of additional European languages (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish and French) is an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package with focus on MS PowerPoint and MS Excel;
  • Strong leadership, management and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and commercial awareness;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution skills in multicultural and dynamic environments;
  • Strategic thinking and ability to deliver business objectives.
  • Support Cruise Sales Managers & Cruise Consultants by providing consistent leadership, guidance, and feedback to the shipboard teams;
  • Travel extensively to vessels to oversee Future Cruise operation and to perform brand quality and marketing audits, trainings, rotation coverage ensuring that processes and procedures are in compliance with company brand standards;
  • Responsible for coaching the onboard sales team to be the driving force in achieving and exceeding the targets by teaching sales technique, motivating each other, training, and monitoring progress;
  • Administer daily operations for onboard sales programs on MSC vessels including staffing, crew scheduling, rotation coverage, training, performance coaching and development, auditing, brand standards, marketing and revenue strategies and implementation, general support of Future Cruise Sales Team;
  • Identify new opportunities based on local market trends and collaborate with the onboard teams to build direct marketing to promote our business to attract the targeted demographic;
  • Mentor, develop and ensure regular training for Future Cruise Sales teams to strengthen overall performance and career development;
  • Strive for continuous improvement in operations and sales generation to maximize % of guests to book their next cruise onboard;
  • Develop the Future Cruise operation by creating new SOP’s, new reporting tools, processes, tutorials, training files and best practices journal.
