Our client is a major, gobal operating, listed group in the automotive industry with production, engineering and sales locations all over the world.

The Corporate Services department in Europe is located in Steinhausen, Switzerland and is responsible for internal services in the areas of Treasury, Risk and Legal and advises all locations in EMEA and Asia.

In terms to further development of the Group Treasury services we are looking for a

TREASURY ANALYST

Tasks

As part of a highly qualified and motivated finance team, reporting to the Director Treasury, you will be a key player in managing exposure, funding processes in EMEA and in Asia, short-term investment/funding activities, and reporting projects.

Your major tasks / responsibilities:
  • Assist the director of Treasury in identifying and assessing financial risks, including FX and interest rate risk.
  • Prepare quarterly/annual funding strategy and support the subsidiaries through the funding process.
  • Support in managing currency exposures, collect & review FX exposure reports.
  • Assists in defining the hedging strategies for business units.
  • Manage commercial paper issuance based on the short-term rolling forecast.
  • Manage and review rolling forecast and get clarification from the business units.
  • Monitor the cash positions and forecasted cash flows to ensure liquidity, incl. managing cross-border cash pooling.
  • Be involved in projects to further develop the Treasury systems and continuous improvement of the processes.
Requirements

Your Profile / Personality:
  • Completed studies in Finance or Banking (Uni, FH)
  • 2 - 5 years of professional experience in the finance, banking or trading industry
  • Treasury certification preferable
  • Knowledge of treasury products and processes (cash forecast, liquidity management, foreign exchange)
  • Very good MS Office skills, SQL / programming knowledge would be an asset
  • Business proficency in English (company language), German is a plus
  • Accuracy with numbers
  • Strategic mindset, attention to detail, analytical skills
  • Eager to learn, self starter and independent worker
