Tasks

The Clean Utilities Engineer is responsible for all Clean Utilities aspects including design, installation, operation and maintenance. She/he is part of the investment project team during concept, design, procurement, start up and qualification of Clean Utilities Systems. Clean utilities include Purified Water, Water for injection, Clean Steam, Process Gases, CIP & Chemical systems.
  • Supporting investment project team during concept, design, procurement, start up and qualification (in close collaboration with SS CQV) of Clean Utilities Systems.
  • Develop concepts and design. Provide construction assistance. Responsible for commissioning philosophies and field commissioning activities. Provide qualification assistance
  • Establish technical packages for standard applications to allow “off the shelf” implementation. Cooperate with procurement, vendors and local operations to adjust packages to regional requirements.
Requirements
  • Engineering diploma in Biotechnology, Bioprocess- or Chemical Engineering, or similar
  • 7-10+ years in project engineering, project management for chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical industries, facility layout and optimization or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of cGMP regulatory environment
  • Readiness to work in international environment
  • English and German spoken and written
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
