The Ashoka Support Network (ASN) is a global community of committed business leaders who share, support and advocate for Ashoka’s values and vision, while unleashing their own potential as changemakers. Besides supporting Ashoka with a minimum financial yearly contribution, ASN members support Ashoka´s Social Entrepreneurs and Ashoka´s initiatives with their expertise and network. The global network comprises of +340 ASN members in +25 countries at the moment and we want to increase the number to +500 within the next years.

Job Description

You will join the ASN Global Team to assist the team in communication and the development of innovative projects within the ASN community. In your role as a support manager, you will collaborate with the leadership team on major campaigns, help in the creation of marketing materials, contribute to social media content, organize important meetings, and engage with Ashoka offices worldwide. Your Tasks:

  • Assist the team in organising online engagement events for the global community of Ashoka Support Network members.
  • Manage and generate content for Ashoka ASN Linkedin Group (in coordination with Ashoka offices).
  • Conduct research to identify diversified potential leads using LinkedIn Navigator and Search
  • Initiate contact with potential ASNs leads, schedule calls and follow-up with emails.
  • Assist the ASN team in arranging and following up on meetings with potential ASNs, particularly in the Zurich and Basel areas
  • Facilitate internal communication with Ashoka local office ASN Representatives worldwide, including surveys, opportunities distribution, meetings organization, team retreat, etc.)
  • Support the team in creating communication materials such as flyers, canvas, videos, etc. and manage distribution channels
  • Manage the Global ASN email
  • Support the team in implementing new strategies for recruiting new Ashoka Support Network members

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Proficient with Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Proficient with social media: LinkedIn, SalesNavigator, Instagram
  • Familiar with Design tools (images and videos): Canva, InDesign, iMovie or other.
  • Fluent in English; French and German is a plus.
  • Must be creative within her/his scope of work and very resourceful in problem solving
  • Interest in the social sector
