About The RoleThe primary mission of the VP for Data Strategy Implementation is to drive the Group Data Strategy implementation, alignment, and translation into strategic Data Programs and business use cases by the most enormous Business Unit (Adecco), regions, and countries. Also to unleash the power of Data as a competitive advantage to optimize The Adecco Group operations, uncover new opportunities, build value-added partnerships with our Clients, and lifelong loyalty of our Talents – across our brands and countries.This position reports to the Group SVP – Head of Data Strategy and Excellence, based in Zurich, Switzerland.What You’ll Be DoingLeadership and Partnership – taking a lead in the implementation and adaptation of the Group Data Strategy with the biggest Global Business Unit (Adecco):
  • Acts as a sparring partner to the Group Head of Data Strategy & Excellence in Group Data Strategy development and refinement
  • Establishes and maintains strong value-based partnerships with the GBU Leadership and senior subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization
  • Drives alignment of the Group Data Strategy to respective Business Units/ business lines/ regions/ countries’ business strategies and priorities, technology architecture
  • Translates Data Strategy and the GBU requirements into Data Management, Data Capability, Data Tech, and Data Products tasks and work streams
  • Mobilizes other departments within the Data, broader Digital, IT, etc. to ensure the success of the Group Data Strategy implementation.
Project Management – leads identification, prioritization, and implementation of the Data-related business use case pipeline:
  • Leads annual opportunity scanning and engages senior stakeholders and business partners to identify Data-related business cases
  • Leads prioritization of the defined business use cases across 3 GBUs and builds the business use case pipeline
  • Mobilizes other departments within the Data, broader Digital, IT, etc. to develop solutions and action plans to address the priority use cases
  • Identifies detailed Data harmonization concept and plan in line with the biggest Global Business Units’, regions’ and countries’ needs
  • Steers the Data harmonization concept across 3 GBUs to ensure consistency
  • Co-leads use cases implementation and adoption – in partnership with respective business owners
  • Creates and leads Data business use cases governance and communication.
Communication – leading communication of the Data Strategy implementation and business impact:
  • Assesses and communicates Data Strategy implementation status in the Global Business Unit, key achievements, and gaps
  • Assesses and communicated business impact and learnings of Data-related business use cases implementation
  • Collects, codify, and disseminates relevant GBU and regions/countries’ best practices People management – leads and develops the Data Strategy Implementation and Data Project Management organization
  • Leads the Data Strategy Implementation and Data Project Management talent acquisition, development, and pipeline
  • Identifies roles & responsibilities definition within the Data Strategy Implementation and Data Project Management organization
  • Creates and implements personalized talent development plans for direct reports.
About You
  • 5+ years of Digital/ Data/ Tech/ IT strategy development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years experience in global or regional complex matrix organizations or top-tier consultancy
  • 5+ years experience in global or regional roles
  • Proven experience in influencing senior Board-level stakeholders
  • 3+ years experience managing dispersed international teams Skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Agility and resilience when faced with ambiguity
  • Result-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English is a must; any other European language will be appreciated.
