We are looking for a Workstream Lead Supply Planning (m/f/d) for Lonza AG (100%) in Visp (Wallis). This is a temporary position for 24 months. Remote work from within Switzerland is possible for up to 3 days/week.Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across three continents. And that’s the kind of work Lonza wants to be part of.In this role, you will lead workstreams to design, implement and achieve successful implementation of Detailed Scheduling & Material Planning processes and tools (SAP & OMP). Also, you will accomplish a successful certification for the Site, for this process, as well as ensuring sustained adherence to process.Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the workstream’s structures- Clear objectives, right resources, right governance etc.
  • Ensure complete understanding of the relevant sections of the SAP Blueprint handbook (Process manual, Checklist) for self and all workstream team members.
  • Develop a project charter for the workstream that defines the objectives, KPIs, team members and delivery dates. Have the charter endorsed.
  • Define and monitor the project plan together with Material Planning and Detailed Scheduling workstreams members to implement Blueprint. Responsible for assessing the current process/gaps of the workstream’s status against the project plan.
  • Lead the workstreams and manage the teams deliverables
  • Be an active member of the local project governance led by the Supply Chain Transformation Lead. Escalate issues that require resolution at Site level.
  • Collaborate with the other workstream leads, and the Supply Chain Transformation lead to drive and deliver Blueprint implementation.
  • Be the primary contact point to the SCT lead. Provide a monthly progress update, with an accurate and realistic workstream status (progress against plan deliverables, project risks etc..) to the SCT leader
  • Define, together with SCT leader, additional support requirements e.g. from the Center of Excellence team. Organize the required support and ensure it is effective.
  • Develop the Site trainings for the relevant processes. Ensure that the training is established in a sustainable way e.g. trainings in internal training system LSO, and expert trainers for Super User in place.
  • Project management of at least 2-3 similar projects (process and system implementation)
  • Several years of experience with SAP logistics modules and OMP (or similar detailed scheduling tool)
  • Working experience in pharmaceuticals or chemicals manufacturing
  • Listens to customer & creates solutions for unmet customer needs
  • Is action-oriented & full of energy to face challenging situations
  • Pursues targets with a need to finish. Does not give up, especially in the face of adversity
  • Communicates in open, clear, complete, timely, and consistent manner
  • English: Fluent
  • German is an advantage
