    Mission
    Join our dynamic team as a 2nd level Field Service Engineer! Your mission is to deliver excellent technical support for our cutting-edge laser machines. Whether troubleshooting remotely from the office or on-site at customer locations, you’ll be the expert ensuring smooth operation of nanosecond and ultrafast lasers integrated into high end 5-axis ma-chines. Bring your precision and expertise to the forefront of innovation as we redefine the future of laser technology.
    Main activities
    Provide robust support to our First Level service team by diagnosing and trouble-shooting issues. Actively strive to resolve problems, whether through remote assis-tance or on-site visits. Proactively manage 2nd level tickets to prevent escalation.
    Identify potential enhancements in design, tooling, or procedures during fieldwork, contributing valuable insights to improve our solutions.
    Stay updated on new products, refine calibration and troubleshooting techniques, and develop tools to elevate technical proficiency for first-level service engineers.
    Acquire and develop excellent hard and soft skills to act as an Ambassador of GF Machining Solutions.

    Education & Experience:
    Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent in photonics, electrotechnics, automa-tion or mechanics
    Experience in a similar function in investment good industry or scientific equipment’s.
    Very good knowledge of Optics and Lasers.
    Languages:
    Fluent in French & English.
    IT skills:
    Intermediate knowledge of PC, PLC, CNC, and network configuration.
    Interest in Computer Graphics and SAP.
    Personal skills:
    Flexibility and readiness to travel (up to 60%).
    Analytical skills with attention to detail and synthetic thinking.
    Customer and quality-oriented mindset.
