The role
Reporting to the Group Finance Lead, this position has overall responsibility for the consolidated financial reporting of Quantis globally, coordinating accounting, tax, legal and cash management for Quantis for all our branches and for the Holding based in Switzerland.
Does this describe you?
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or Business
- 8+ years experience, preferably with International/Multinational Professional Services firm background, or 3 – 5 years in CPA firm and 3 – 5 years in a management role
- Familiarity with US GAAP financial reporting and accounting requirements
- Hands-on experience in general accounting, treasury, financial systems implementation, financial reporting
- Deep knowledge of accounting and metrics in the professional service industries
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite or similar
- Data affinity and proficiency in MS Office software and databases, especially financial ones
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French, German a plus
- Excellent analytical capabilities and numerical reasoning
- Problem solving skills, critical reasoning and sound judgment
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to provide honest feedback and support in the development of employees’ capabilities
- Highly independent work style, with strong organization and time management capabilities
- Ability to see the big picture for both finance and controlling topics, and provide solution-oriented advisory to office leadership
- Trustworthy, communicative personality with service mentality and professional bearing
- Strong teamwork skills, flexibility, openness to change, and willingness to shape policy

Accounting
- Oversee externalized payroll, managing the financial impact of new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation, pension plans and other benefits
- Ensure that local practices comply with Quantis policies and local requirements
- Understand and ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines
- Oversee all month end and year end accounting activities
- Prepare reconciliations and maintain all supporting documentation required to support the annual audits
- Support and collaborate with finance teams across Quantis on technical accounting matters to ensure we are producing top quality financial data that can be relied upon by decision-makers across the organization
- Be responsible for the integrity of the data in Quantis’s internal finance systems and be active in the evolution of the tool to meet both local and global requirements & needs.
- Consolidate and report Quantis financial information on a monthly and annual basis, both for management reporting and financial reporting purposes
- Prepare statutory and GAAP financial statements
- Provide timely and meaningful management reporting as a basis for business decisions
- Provide ad hoc information and analysis, as required
- Manage the local audit relationship and be responsible for final audit results of consolidated financial statements of Quantis plus certain subsidiaries
- Ensure compliance regarding all taxation matters such as local corporate taxes, withholding taxes and VAT requirements
- Team with Quantis Global Finance Lead to manage tax audits and respond to tax authorities requests with input from Global Tax Team and external advisors
- Continuously work on identification of tax opportunities and avoidance of tax risks in personal tax, corporate tax and VAT
- Work with the Group Global Tax Team and external advisors to develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation in accordance with relevant local legislation
- Prepare cash forecasting (short term and longer term)
- Manage day-to-day cash position (including any financing requirements)
- Ensure that risk management is effectively embedded into the finance function, including ensuring adequate systems of internal control (segregation of duties, reconciliations, checks and balances and oversight)
- Pro-actively identify and mitigate risks including embedding risk management philosophy with the various functions
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including preparing all official documents and filings required by local laws
- Ensure appropriate finance policies are in place and monitored, and adherence to global policies
