Application Support Engineer (m/w)

You are responsible for installation and basic configuration of a software application on site or by remote access on Linux and Windows. You coordinate the necessary steps with the customer and those responsible for the respective IT infrastructure (OS/Networking/Database). Further on you plan and perform software updates for your customers and handle 2nd level support issues using a ticketing system. You support the test department in the verification of installation and update procedures.

Apprenticeship as a computer scientist or an equivalent IT education

Erfahrungen
For this position at least 3 years of working experience are needed. You feel at ease with administrative tasks on different OS (Linux, Windows). Preferably you have some experience in basic database administration and you like to work independently and use your strong problem-solving abilities in a goal-oriented way while collaborating and communicating well in international and intercultural settings.
