Tasks:

Providing legal advice and support to our business divisions and Corporate Function Groups
Advising on a broad range of legal matters, including contracts, transactions, regulations and claims
Leading negotiations across broad range of commercial contracts, drawing on the expertise of peers in the regional legal team as required
Drafting and reviewing a broad range of legal documents e.g. contracts, terms and conditions, quality requirements, training materials, compliance instructions relating to both procurement and supply
Providing training to associates on legal topics and procedures such as competition law, dawn-raid procedures
Providing legal advice and support to manufacturing sites across Europe in a complex multi-divisional and cross functional organization
Supervising litigation and other matters handled in coordination with outside counsel
Ensuring and promoting, together with management, that all activities are in line with environmental, health and safety, international trade control and the company’s ethical standards

Key Qualifications:

Preferably Swiss qualified lawyer with bar exam
Experience in an in-house commercial counsel role or in a major law firm and immediate ability to practice in CH
Experience in general commercial law matters like sales, purchasing, competition law, tort and corporate law, etc.
Experience working in a global and a matrix organization
Communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work autonomously and lead negotiations
Proactive and solution oriented
Experience in the manufacturing sector or chemical industry
Profound English as well as German knowledge
Immediate or very quick availability
